This is a small Bulgarian village, situated in a picturesque hilly area. It is located 16 km to the north of the highway Varna – Sofia, in a region extremely suitable for hunting and fishing, but still not very popular with the foreign investors in real estates in countryside. The properties are still cheap, and those who wants to make good investment can buy either cheap old rural houses and villas, or agriculture land and regulated plots of land. The Yastrebino lake is just 20 km away from the village. There are a multitude of small lakes in an area of 100 km around, which are excellent for fishing, and there is a river passing next to the village. The village together with two other villages is appointed for the building of an ecopath and ecotourism. This region is well known among Bulgarians with the village of Yastrebino where 60 years ago the hitlerite resistance in Bulgaria gives dear victims, including children.
Fifty-nine km away from the village is the town of Veliko Turnovo – the last Bulgarian capital before the enslavement of the Turkish empire in XIV century. The mild weather, the availability of natural and historical landmarks and the development of the national and artistic crafts makes it exceptionally attractive town for the tourists and British and Irish real estate investors. The town is situated in the skirts of Stara Planina mountain, in the meanders of the Yantra river. Tzarevetz stronghold, Assen’s neighbourhood, more than 17 churches, monasteries, museums, architectural and cultural monuments, Arbanassi reserve and many more are in and around the town.
In the village there is a shop with the most necessary goods. Foreign TV programmes could be watched via satellite. The nearest town is Popovo – 17 km. The buyers of properties in the area can use the shops, the hospital, banks, etc. in Popovo. The distance to the Varna airport is 183 km and to the Sofia airport is 295 km.
