Info: The property is situated in a nice village only 24 km away from the top attractive ski resort of Bansko which is the newest Bulgarian winter resort, recently discovered by the tourists is located at the foot of the majestic Pirin mountains, which are situated in the South -Western part of Bulgaria. Bansko provides an interesting combination of the virgin nature of Pirin Mountains and the atmosphere of an ancient Bulgarian town. . The Northern parts of Pirin Mountains (where Bansko is situated) are declared a National park under the protection of UNESCO because of the unique ecosystems met here. The town itself attracts visitors by its 120 cultural monuments, Bansko School of icon painting, well -preserved traditions and culture, original Revival-period architecture, local culinary specialties, colourful folklore and various entertainment opportunities. No other town offers so many possibilities for mountain tourism and winter sports and competitions, for congress, eco and country tourism, for golf, for alpinism (rock and ice climbing) and spa treatment, mountain cycling, summer and winter walking tours in the mountain. The town of Bansko is located on 925 m. above sea level, and its skiing area is on 2000-2600 m. The skiing season starts in the middle of December and ends in mid April. Since 2003, the resort is equipped with the latest Doppelmayr ropeways, including an 8-passenger Gondola ropeway, 4 and 2 –seated chairlifts, T-bar lifts and platters. Facilities also include 2 children's ski lifts and a ski kindergarten. New possibilities are opened up for snowboarders with the special half-pipe facility. All tracks are equipped with snow facilities TechnoAlpin for artificial snow. The ski wardrobes have the newest ski equipment with more than 1200 brand new pairs of boots, 100 snowboards, etc. all made by famous European manufacturers (Solomon, Wintersteiger, and etc). The Bansko ski school offers skiing classes in 5 different difficulty levels. All graduates receive skiing certificates. The resort is a regular host to different competitions.
The nice mountainous village itself where the property is located is supplied with all local amenities along with two pubs, a tavern and two shops. In the last few years it comes to life again – the center is being reconstructed and now you can see there a fountain, lawns and alleys. By now many properties here have been rebuilt by their new owners. According to surveys made by the Institute of meteorology this area has in fact zero grade of industrial pollution which means - ecologically clean air!
