The village itself, lies some 40km to the south of Varna and a couple of kilometers away from the coast. Its holiday complex is situated closer to the adjacent beech of fine white sand. The beech is no less than 8 km long and up to 100-120 m wide, having sand dunes at places. Mineral water springs have been found in the surrounding area, though their tourist potential remains under-exploited.
The holiday complex consists of campsites and decent bungalows. The nearby village has an open-air cinema and plenty of pubs and small restaurants, which together with the serenity of the surrounding nature, ensures a calm and enjoyable low-budget rest.
The town of Byala is situated some 7 km from the village. The most important components of the natural wealth of Byala are the sea and its coast, as well as the mountain with its forest and other resources. These factors are prerequisites for tourism development. The geographic location of the area of Byala makes it a focus of tourism activities. Byala is at almost equal distance from two large district centers - Bourgas and Varna; hence it is a crossing point of the transport connections between these cities.
At the coast, one can see a protective bank, dating back to the early years of the Bulgarian state (8th-10th century), while the area around the St Atanas Monastery holds remains of an ancient fortress. The wine of the extremely fine Dimyat vintage is also produced in the town.
Hurry up! This could be your dream summer villa!
