Info: The town of Shabla is located in the northern part of the Black Sea coast and boosts with a clean and beautiful beech. It is only 24km away from the Bulgarian-Romanian border. The small town is a fast-developing resort some 83 km away from Varna. Cape Shabla consists of limestone rocks covered with loess reaching up to 10 meters high. The oldest lighthouse in Bulgaria stands on it. The Dourankoulak Moor is the farthest northern place of interest along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The distance to the Dourakoulak village and the border with Romania is less than 6 km. It is famous for hosting a number of marsh birds, including such enlisted in the Red Book of Bulgarian fauna. The beautiful fauna makes the moor an attractive place for hunters. It is not only nature that attracts visitors to this place - the remains of the largest Eneolithic settlement in Europe have been excavated on the big island in the Dourankoulak Moor. Another attractive moor for hunters - the Shabla Lake - is located a few kilometers south of Dourankolak, between the village of Ezeretz and the town of Shabla. The house is situated in a small village near the Bulgarian-Romanian border, only 22 km from Shabla and 9km from the sea and the lakes of Dourankoulak and Baltata.
